Dance Camp For Kids and Teens 2012

July 9 – 27, 2012
Three weeks, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Burgdorff Center, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood

Best for Summer following Grades 1-10, the camp covers Dance Technique (contemporary and ballet), Choreography Workshop, Dance History and Survey of Contemporary Dance with Guest Artists teaching Jazz and Hip Hop.

Explore Dance in depth this summer with professional dancers from New York! Under the direction of Choreographer Lydia Johnson, LJ Dance company members will lead small groups through a varied day of creative dance! Our schedule will include:

Enrollment is limited. Bring a bag lunch! (though watch for our special Pizza Day, to be announced!) Wear comfortable, non-baggy clothes or warm-up/dance wear. Ballet or jazz shoes are required as the stage floor is imperfect. Bring water bottles and a small spritzer if it's very hot.
