Dance Camp For Kids

June 29 - July 10, 2009
Two weeks, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (except July 4)
The Burgdorff Center, 10 Durand Road, Maplewood

Best for Summer following Grades 1-8, the camp covers Dance Technique (contemporary and ballet), Choreography Workshop, Dance History and Survey of Contemporary Dance with Guest Artists teaching Jazz and Hip Hop.

Explore Dance in depth this summer with professional dancers from New York! Under the direction of Choreographer Lydia Johnson, LJ Dance company members will lead small groups through a varied day of creative dance! Our schedule will include:

Class Fees:

Enrollment is limited. Bring a bag lunch! (Except Fridays special Pizza Day!) Wear comfortable clothes or warm up/dance wear. Bare feet for dancing or jazz shoes are fine. Bring water bottles and small spritzer.
