“Lydia’s musical choices are instinctive and her rehearsal is a laboratory rather than a lecture: she doesn’t come in with everything mapped out in advance but rather she tries and discards options to achieve the look she has in mind. The dancers are all fine technicians and willing to try anything.” Philip Gardner, Oberon’s Grove, 2009
LJD dancers transport audiences beyond the stage to a place where motion, emotion and beauty come together as one. The LJD School Scholarship Fund provides underserved children with dance, choreographic and artistic skills.
We rely on donors like you for financial support so LJD can continue creating living art and bringing dance to local and national audiences. Because when you show people there is beauty in the world, their world becomes more beautiful.
Be a gift-giver. Gifts at all levels are deeply appreciated (and tax-deductible!).
